Public Consultations

Community Electricity is an important contributor to the frequent public consultations that are conducted by the Economic Regulation Authority and the IMO, amongst others. In particular, the IMO undertakes a public consultation in respect of every change it proposes to make to the Market Rules, and these mostly involve at least two rounds of public consultation. The IMO also conducts public workshops for the more complex issues.

Community Electricity possesses specialist knowledge and perspective having contributed to the development of the deregulated market since its conception, and we seek to offer a reasoned and objective assessment of how proposed changes will impact on the Wholesale Electricity Market Objectives.
